Night Sky with Stars
Hi, I'm Emily Hawe,
founder of Mind Launchers

There is nothing I love more than helping students reach their full potential.

Over the course of my career as a certified teacher, a college advisor, and an executive function coach, I have seen time and time again that the largest obstacle blocking students from excelling is poor executive function skills.

These are the skills that allow us to plan, pay attention, remember instructions, and juggle multiple tasks successfully.

It wasn't until after becoming a teacher and seeing students struggle with these skills that I decided to do a deep dive into the causes and solutions.

I then developed systems for struggling parents and students to positively impact their school experience by learning these executive functioning skills.

I saw clients go from failing classes, to achieving A/B averages and heading off to college.

And now, I’m taking my depth of knowledge on how the brain learns to develop programs that empower students with effective study skills.

In addition to my courses and private coaching work, I am a staff developer for multiple school districts in the NYC metropolitan area. I hold a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration (Pupil Personnel Services) and a Master’s degree in English Education from Teachers College at Columbia University.
