Is this course for working moms?
Yes! This course is designed for even the busiest moms. These videos are 10 minutes or less and come with a printable PDF (no note taking required!).
The action-steps take minutes to implement yet they’ll transform your family's virtual school experience from frustration to engagement.

What age group does this work for?
This can work for children as young as 3 and 4 all the way up to high schoolers. The idea is to understand the causes for inattention and fidgeting allowing us to reframe the fidgeting. Then we'll learn ways to actively channel that energy into more supportive movements that can BOOST learning.
Is this suitable for hybrid virtual/in-person school?
Yes. All skills learned in this course can work in the standard classroom or the virtual classroom. These are lifetime skills that can be used beyond even the classroom.
Will this require purchasing expensive gadgets?
We offer budget friendly options! Some of my favorite items cost as little as $10. (I even have an option for using items from around your house).
Will this work for homeschoolers?
Yes! This course is designed for any wiggly child, whether in a classroom, Zoom room, or dining room.
What other people are saying
"I really didn't think we would make it to Thanksgiving, let alone the end of the year doing virtual school. My daughter was miserable. I was miserable. We spent the day yelling at each other and crying (both of us!). This mini-course helped me make changes quickly to make virtual school work better for her. We have a lot less screaming now."

Marie T., mom of a third grader
"My son has ADHD, so sitting still for regular school was already a challenge. Having to sit at his computer screen for five hours a day while not playing video games felt impossible. I was constantly having to tell him to go back to his desk. I really don't think he learned anything until I used the strategies in this mini-course."

Laura H., mom of a 7th grader
"Quick and easy to get through the material, which I needed, but wow, what a difference! Thanks!"

Hi, I'm Emily Hawe,

There is nothing I love more than helping students reach their full potential.

Over the course of my career as a certified teacher, a college advisor, and an executive function coach, I have seen time and time again that the largest obstacle blocking students from excelling is poor executive function skills.
These are the skills that allow us to plan, pay attention, remember instructions, and juggle multiple tasks successfully.
It wasn't until after becoming a teacher and seeing students struggle with these skills that I decided to do a deep dive into the causes and solutions.
I then developed systems for struggling parents and students to positively impact their school experience by learning these executive functioning skills.
I saw clients go from failing classes, to achieving A/B averages and heading off to college.
And now, I’m taking my depth of knowledge on how the brain learns to develop programs that empower students with effective study skills.
In addition to my courses and private coaching work, I am a staff developer for multiple school districts in the NYC metropolitan area. I hold a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration (Pupil Personnel Services) and a Master’s degree in English Education from Teachers College at Columbia University.
